Metamorphosis

I realized this evening as I finished up the last post...that this blog has truly turned into a "Metamorphosis" ...  God is transforming me over and over and over and I am so thankful and it truly is a Metamorphosis of magnificent proportions!  I am so honored to be able to share this journey with you.

Metamorphosis:  Meta - (in ancient Rome) a column or post, a group of columns or posts placed at each end of a racetrack to mark the turning places.  (Surely in this race, we face twist and turns, thank God He has placed sign posts along the way to let us know when to make a turn or when we are about to change directions).  Meta - in chemistry - pertaining to or occupying two positions.  This definition reminds me of the duality we struggle with... born in sin, but belonging to God, having a carnal mind while we strive to obtain the mind of Christ.
Meta - origin - after, behind, changed, altered, higher, beyond. In the midst of, in pursuit of, in common with.
Meta in medical terms:  At a later stage of development.  Change transformation.  Beyond, transcending, more comprehensive.  At a higher state of development.

Morphosis:  The sequence or manner of development or change in an organism or any of its parts.  To shape.

He is certainly molding me and making me!  God I pray, continue to cause my heart, my body and my mind to yield to your voice, your calling, your discipline, your chastisement.  You are the potter and I am the clay, mold me and make me!!!
