Catching Up...

Its been a busy several weeks, months... and while I am pretty good at posting on facebook...because its easier..  I wanted to share whats been on my heart a little.   So here are some recent posts.

I think I've reached a conclusion... If we have to add any kind of adjective to love... Perhaps it really isn't love at all. But that is the challenge I think we live with... To have a love for each other that isn't filtered, doesn't need improvement, that is constant and enough. Until we meet the One who is love... We will have to keep adding to ours because only His is complete, eternal and in fact enough. Thankful! This Is Amazing Grace!!! To be alive to breathe to know You are with me today.. Having brought me from death to life out of the darkness and into the light! Amazing!

When I'm going through life; reading a book, watching a movie, over hear a conversation or I dream- I hear God speak through the voice of others, words light up on a page, or a beacon shines upon a certain scene in a dream. As I watched The Great Gatsby tonight it was no different. When Nick was retelling the story of Gatsby and recounting his thought just before he kissed Daisy for the first time: "He knew that if he kissed this girl his mind would never again be free to romp like... the mind of God... That falling in love would change his destiny... forever." What I heard was " falling in love would change his destiny...forever". This is a truth God wants us to know about Him. When we fall in love with Him our destiny is changed forever. He always has something to say and share with us and His spirit within us will always bear witness to truth, because He is the way the truth and the life. His Word is alive and not just found or bound within the pages of a book, it is all around and within us. He is all around us. And the Word or Logos which is correctly translated as the Voice of God, will always bear witness of itself and confirm what is true.

Luke 15:31-32 - “‘My son,’ the father said, ‘you are always with me, and everything I have is yours. But we had to celebrate and be glad, because this brother of yours was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’” And to think there is more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents... This is the love of God.. And the love we should have for one another...that they no longer are in darkness but light no longer dead but alive and have come to desire repentance that they would not only have life but have it more abundantly through Christ!

So awesome! Give God a chance it's His love that transforms us not His law. But it's His law we learn to love when we love Him and we can never know Him much more love Him, without a relationship. Did your parents a friend or relative grandpa or grandma ever tell you not to do something or discourage you from certain things? And now being older and wiser know it's because they wanted the best for you? Because they loved you? It's the same with God. We may not understand or even agree with God or His commandments but when we get to know Him we do. It's because He loves more than any human can, more than we can comprehend. Give Him a chance to prove it to you.  When Two Lesbians Walk Into a Church Seeking Trouble

When we truly believe, even know, that "my help comes from The Lord", what the world and everyone in it fails to deliver, won't matter. It provides the perfect bridge to forgiveness when others don't meet our expectations. It dilutes the sting of disappointment and allows us the opportunity to truly become all we are called to be and do. Ultimately, it allows us to love with no condition or prerequisites.
