When we move past asking God to heal our wounds, cure our ills - and truly start taking an interest in what He has to say, whats on His mind - thats when the transformation really begins - when you become a pupil instead of a patient.
Lord I think that plate of bok choy - is clearing my mind. I can see how a clean way of eating (His definition of clean) will clear the cobwebs from my mind. Its like malabsorption - when we are bogged down with the world and the things of this world - we drown out His voice and stop up our spiritual ears... so we can't hear, its muffled - we don't get the good stuff...or the benefits. I am reminded of the Verizon commercial "Can you hear Me now"
